I haven't forgotten...

about posting to the blog! I promise. Since Christmas, we've been going nonstop. Between snow days, runny noses, stomach flu, and various other things, I have just not been on my A-game with the blog. But with the start of a new month, I think I can almost see, smell, and feel spring coming. Tomorrow, we will leave for New Orleans for Mardi Gras and there, we will get the first of spring! WOOHOO! Temps between 65 and 75. Could it get any better. Don't know if the world is ready to see my legs that have not seen sunlight in 6 months, but we'll make do.

So, I promise, after Mardi Gras, there will be LOTS of pictures and TONS of updates. Until then, here are a few pictures from the list 2 months.

This last photo is Parker at 18 months. I missed the 19 month picture, but will be sure to take a 20 month.

Thanks to Aunt Marion, Uncle Jim, and Ana - Campbell has become our very own "piano man." The song he is singing is from his preschool Christmas concert. More posts and pictures coming soon! Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas

Last week was my "lost week." From the moment we arrived back in VA from Thanksgiving, I was consumed with the Scottish Christmas Walk Weekend. I spent each day placing over 100 volunteers into over 200 volunteer shifts to make the weekend work. Yes folks, you read it correctly. Less volunteers than shifts! But we did it and the weekend was great! The Spence family walked in the parade on Saturday (well Campbell walked for a bit and Parker rode in the stroller). Campbell loved handing out candy canes to the other kids watching the parade. He's even more excited about the fact that we'll get to ride in the convertible next year!

We found time to decorate the tree and house on Sunday and Christmas is officially here! I can't believe that Christmas is in 2 weeks! Where has the time gone? We are looking forward to a fun two weeks of seeing santa and taking a special train ride.
