24 Weeks...16 weeks to go until Baby Girl Spence Arrives

When people ask me how far along I am, I find myself answering with how many weeks I have to go...16! Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to rush along the pregnancy, I am just so excited to meet this baby girl and to have our family complete. Everything has been going great with the pregnancy, especially since starting physical therapy for my back. With the boys, I suffered sciatica issues and never did anything about it. Well, it started again and I decided that I could either enjoy the pregnancy pain free (or at least with less pain) or I could be miserable. I opted for the first. My doctor sent me to a group that specializes in back physical therapy and chiropractic care. I've always been a little nervous about going to a chiropractor, but it has done wonders for me. I am being a good patient and going twice a week and doing my stretching/exercising 2 times a day. It is definitely a commitment, but well worth it. I FEEL GREAT AND I am enjoying the pregnancy a lot more.

Baby Girl Spence is quite a mover, just like her brothers. She does not like when I do my stretches - I think she's getting a little cramped when I do them. She appreciates my daily dose of caffeine and wakes up 2 hours after my last sip. :)

The boys are getting so excited to welcome their sister to the world. I was able to bring them to my doctor's appointment last week and they got to hear her heartbeat. It was the sweetest moment that I will cherish. When they heard the heart beating, they both immediately put their hands on my stomach. Parker's eyes looked like they were about to pop out of his head. He was amazed! My doctor, who delivered the boys, was even a little choked up to see the sweet gesture. They are going to love their sister and be such wonderful role models for her. Jason and I look forward to watching them protect her and love her.

So, since all of you all live away and don't get the honor of seeing my growing belly, I thought I would give you a glimpse of how things are looking. I try to take a picture every 4 weeks and happened to find pictures from Campbell and Parker's pregnancies to compare. Enjoy!
