Today was P's first day of school at First Baptist Church Preschool. I loaded up his backpack and lunchbox and could hardly believe that this day had come. We headed to school and the closer we got, my heart started getting a little heavier and heavier. But it's a good thing! He did great. Of course, he shed some tears at drop off, and I have to admit, I did too. I was fine until I got the parking lot, then I lost it. :( When Campbell and I returned at 2:00 to pick him up, his teacher, Mrs. Jeannine (who also taught Campbell) said he didn't nap and in fact, reminded her of C's great buddy, Maddie. A totaly busy bee and fought the nap everyday! It'll take some time to get used to the new situation, but when I picked him, he was as happy as can be and had a great day! I couldn't be happier!
